Thanks for that video. There are some real pearls of wisdom and inspiration in there.

But... I suspect it will fade away fast as a thread... maybe because it shows strength, intelligence, adaptability and faith within a black indigenous culture.

Can you imagine how scared the politicians must be at the moment?

Even though the state has tried to interfere with our constitutional God-given rights, compared to the majority of socialist states in Europe, the USA and her proud citizens have done a lot to maintain a semblance of freedom.

Look at England and how they wimped out and allowed the monarchy to take their guns.

Fortunately, I believe Americans are cut from a different cloth......

I used to have very ignorant opinions on African Americans...........until God brought an amazing black woman into my life who is now my wife. I've learned much about the African American culture as well as the ignorance that the liberal media spreads about said ethnic group. This is a topic for another post.....

It is a very inspiring video, they created bio fuel, weapons, hydro power all from recycled scrap and natural resources. A true David and Goliath story.

On another note, I was impressed at how they were able to secure their weapons all starting with an "arrow rifle". I'm now considering buying a roll of surgical tubing....jus' incase. :15_1_70v:

I didn't watch but 5 minutes of the video, but is the mine in question a nickel mine?

I was watching this feeling a familiar feeling of respect for these Bougainvillians. I couldn't quite place why it was a familiar feeling. Then it dawned on me:

These men are what our forefathers-- Thomas Jefferson, George Washington were all about. These men have brains, balls and they sure as hell aren't afraid to use them.

I pray deep in our American psyche there is still a bit of this fortitude waiting to come out.

I watched the entire video, this should be made a sticky post.

It warmed my heart to see and hear the struggles and victories of the honorable Bougainvillian people.

You nailed it, RJB.

One tenth of their population have been killed in their war for independence. That would amount to 30,000,000 here in the US. Wow!

While it wasn't brought up in the documentary, I think one great thing they have going for them is that they aren't addicted to money.

Excellent video.

Francis Ona credited the oppression of the blockade as uniting the people and forcing them to learn independence.

Coconut oil has many good uses. Good food too.
